You’ll discover numerous things to do at Elk Knob State Park. One is wildlife photography. The park is packed with a variety of different animals that photographers can try capturing. Some you might see are black bears, turkeys, deer, and bobcats. You’ll also find plenty of birds, such as finches and wrens, flying around.
Camping at Elk Knob State Park

Amenities provided at this camping spot include 50 amps, firewood, and water. There is also a pool and mini-golf course. This campground does have a motorhome length limit of 60-feet.

There are quite a few destinations near Elk Knob State Park, should you like to take your RV on some day trips. Two hours away in Charlotte is the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. This botanical garden overlooks a local lake and spans over 380 acres long. The garden is open year-round and features various types of blooming plants for each season. A few themed gardens you’ll find here are the Cottage Garden, Canal Garden, Orchid Conservatory, and Perennial Gardens. This attraction also has over three miles of hiking trails that go through woodlands and meadows.

Great experience all the way around! My wife and I took our 2 dogs on an 8 day trip to Tennesee and stayed in this beautiful RV. Phil and Jenn met me at the campground and set the RV up for us. They were very friendly and informative during the setup. They had also reached out to me prior to the trip with details about the RV and to find out if we had any special needs for our trip. The RV is very nice and was perfect for our family. It is very spacious inside and has enough room for a family larger than ours. Extras, like a Keurig, and ice-maker, and dog treats were icing on our cake. Phil also checked in with us during our stay, to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would definitely recommend this RV to everyone and hope to use it again in the future!
