This 4,200-acre park nestles at the foot of the Grandfather Mountain and is the largest recreational park in all of the Blueridge Parkway. Named after the insurance broker Julan Price, Julian Price Memorial Park was donated in the will of the broker and has long been the destination for those who love to escape into the green wilderness. The park's central point and focus is the 47-acre Price Lake, where visitors can fish for a plethora of game fish or simply enjoy the lakeside views.

Although it is only dry camping without any hookups, the campground does provide a few facilities. These include a dump station, flushing toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. Pets are welcome at the Julian Price Memorial Park campground but must be kept on a leash at times.

Matthew and Ashley’s camper is awesome and they were great hosts! The camper was very well decorated and stocked with everything you need at a campsite including table, cook stove, all the hookups, and tons of extra touches like an outdoor rug and shoe rack. It was perfect for my family of four. We will definitely rent it again.

The whole experience from booking and communication to delivery and setup was absolutely great. The RV was comfortable, cool and had everything we needed to let us focus on spending time together. Honestly, all of the little extra's—Blackstone Grille, towels and kitchen tools to name a few, made it feel like we were in our own home. My son and I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating and cooking dinners on the Blackstone Grille at the end of each day. A big Thank you to Ashley and Jon for sharing their RV with us and being a part of a really great vacation.
