Quail Hollow Park in Ohio is a sought-after park for a motorhome camping trip. Spread over 700 acres of rolling meadows, deciduous woods, marshes, and pine groves, this scenic state park is located in Hartville and offers a range of fun activities for visitors of all ages. While the state park has been open to visitors since 1975, parts of the park were previously privately owned and housed a 40-room manor house that has since been converted into a museum and is open to all. It is also interesting to know that centuries ago, various Indian tribes inhabited the land that is occupied by the park today.

Camping with a campervan is a great way to access the Quail Hollow Park’s many recreational offerings. The 2-acre Shady Lane Pond though small is open to fishing. The pond is well stocked, but remember to carry a valid Ohio fishing license. Keep in mind that fishing is prohibited in the Beaver Pond towards the park’s northern border.

While Quail Hollow Park only offers primitive camping, there are RV campgrounds close by. Whether you plan to rough it out in a tent or rent a camper near Quail Hollow Park, you’ll find plenty of campgrounds around the park. The Akron/Canton Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Uniontown has 75 campsites. Amenities at the resort include pull-thru sites, big rig access, tent camping, full hookups, 20, 30, and 50 amp electric service, sewer, water, dump station, WiFi, and cell phone coverage.

About 15 miles from Quail Hollow Park is the city of Canton, and also the county seat of Stark County. This friendly city offers much to explore and boasts of a wealth of attractions for visitors passing through. Justin was great to work with. Very nice and very helpful. We rented their camper for a horse show. Just dropped it off and set it up for us. Camper was in great shape and everything was in working order. They even provided a Blackstone gridle, a propane firepit and all the fixin's for Smores. The camper came with all of the essentials and then some. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Justin and family for sharing your camper. We would definitely do it again.
