While the state park has been open to visitors since 1975, parts of the park were previously privately owned and housed a 40-room manor house that has since been converted into a museum and is open to all. The pond is well stocked, but remember to carry a valid Ohio fishing license. Keep in mind that fishing is prohibited in the Beaver Pond towards the park’s northern border.

The Akron/Canton Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Uniontown has 75 campsites. Amenities at the resort include pull-thru sites, big rig access, tent camping, full hookups, 20, 30, and 50 amp electric service, sewer, water, dump station, WiFi, and cell phone coverage.
