2004 Itasca Spirit

Class CSan Jose, CA
Sleeps 7
31 ft. long

Yes, you can rent and drive our RV, but why?
We offer you all the fun of RV camping and none of the work.
Choose the appropriate optional fee based on the distance your destination is from San Jose and I will:
• Deliver and set-up the RV at your destination.
This means you won't have to; fight traffic in a land yacht, negotiate gas stations and narrow roads, back it in, level it, connect the hook-ups, turn on appliances, and so on.
• Depending on your home location, we may even make arrangements for you to load the RV with your supplies prior to my departure for your trip. Just think, a cold beer or bottle of wine waiting for you in the refrigerator upon your arrival and a cabinet full of snacks (food and beverages not included in the fees).
• After a fun and relaxing weekend, I will pick-up and brake down camp.
This means you don’t have to unhook everything, shut down appliances, negotiate your way out of the campsite, and most of all, you won't have to Dump THE Wate Tanks!
• Just pack your gear and give the RV a quick cleaning (wipe down counters, sinks, refrigerator, toilet, empty the garbage and sweep the floor).
• Included in these fees are the estimated cost of gas for a round trip in the RV, the car I tow, and my time. For destinations over 100 miles from San Jose, contact us for a quote.
• Based on the distance and number of nights you will need the RV, I will offer a per-night discount for this option.
• Or feel free to rent and drive the RV yourself.
• Now that gives you something to think about.
The RV sleeps 7 adults: Two on the rear queen bed, two in the bunk over the cab, one on the fold down sofa and one on the fold down table. Two children could sleep on the table.
You will need to provide your own bedding and towels. There are plates, silverware, pots, pans, and some glasses to use. However, you can always bring your own paper plates and plastic utensils to make meal clean up easy since the only dishwasher is you. Also, a small gas BBQ grill with one propane bottle is provided.
The RV is fully self-contained with fresh, grey and black water tanks that can sustain a family for a week (with some moderation of use). It also has a generator that will power the microwave and A/C if needed. Currently there is no TV, and dare I say...no Wifi in the rig. We like to unplug when we get away and hope you will too. However, if you do not have hook ups and need some juice for your electronic devices, the generator will keep them charged (no guarantees against power surges when plugged in to hookups or the generator. You may want to bring a surge protector).
The RV has its own supply of propane that will keep the water hot as well as the furnace if the campfire and an adult beverage can't keep you warm enough.
There is a shower, but remember, this is an RV, not a hotel. Your hot water supply is limited so just a quick soap and rinse is recommended. Best to use the campgrounds showers for longer bathing.
It currently does not have an awning, but we find a pop-up shade tends to be better anyway. We provide 4 camping chairs, a pop-up shade, and two folding tables.
Also, a complementary four bicycle rack on the rear that is lockable. Two adapters for various bike frames also. We can also provide a cargo rack if you need to bring bulky items such as a large cooler or firewood.
Sorry, no pets, smoking of any type, off road driving, towing, and general shenanigans.
We take good care of our baby and expect you will too. Your deposit will be refunded when the RV is returned with a full tank of gas, empty holding tanks and garbage receptacles. Also, please give the interior a wipe down and sweeping. You will find some cleaning supplies in the RV that you are free to use during your trip to stay ahead of the game.
We will strive to answer all your questions during the walk through as well as having a binder of instructions on-board.
We hope you will enjoy roughing it smoothly in our RV.
