2006 Sportsmobile E250 2WD
Greta the Grey Goose is a 2006 Ford E250 van customized by Sportsmobile. She’s comfortable, sturdy and clean. This van drives like a big couch on wheels with Bilstein shocks that smooth the ride out. There is a 15 gal. water tank, sink, ceiling fan, mini fridge/freezer (Icecream camping? YES!), a swiveling passenger captains chair, shade awning, black out curtains and plenty of storage for all your goodies.

We had a great trip in Hannah & Shane's van! We drove the van over 1,000 miles and camped for a week in Death Valley National Park. We had ZERO problems with the van on our trip: everything worked perfectly, exactly as described. The van was very comfortable, both for driving and for sleeping. The mini-fridge holds a surprising amount of food; we were able to fit all perishable food for 3 people x 6 days (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) into the fridge. We were first time van campers, so unsure what to expect. This whole trip was surprisingly smooth! It was great to have the van, since our campsites were at ~2,000 ft elevation and quite cold (we traveled in late November). The van let us sleep warmly.

My boyfriend and I had a great time touring Northern California in Hannah and Shane’s sportsmobile! It was nice to have this comfortable, mobile room in a very drivable and reliable vehicle. The pop top to let you stand and the pilot seat that turns around to the living space were awesome! We played fiddle and banjo very comfortably and there was plenty of storage space for two. The propane fire ring — a new experience for both of us is probably now a must have. Really neat portable stoves too — I’ll be buying one for sure :-).
