Frequently asked questions

Q.

How does the electric, water and sewage hook up work while camping?

A.

As long as there are 'hook-up" electric, water, and sewage these things work a lot like they do at home, except that there is a max AMP load the trailer / hook up can accommodate, and there are holding tanks. This can mean if too many electrical items are operating at the same time the circuits will overload and need to be reset. To avoid this, use fewer electrical items at the same time. For water & sewage, try to conserve water for optimal tank efficiency.

Q.

How does the heat and AC work?

A.

There is a thermostat on the wall that controls the temperature. This will engage the heat or the AC. There are also two in-ceiling electric MaxxAir fans, one in the bedroom, and one in the living room/kitchen. These are operated by a remote controls on the wall. These are powerful ventilation fans that can intake fresh air or expel air, keeping the RV cool, dry, and comfortable without the need to AC. This is a great feature for locations with min. power.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Let us know your plans, where you are going, and/or what your needs are. Our aim is to help create an amazing experience for you and take the effort out of camping! We are pro's at towing, parking, and navigating the nuances of RV camping. We are here to help.

Q.

How does the toilet work?

A.

The toilet is a "gravity-flush" system. Instead of a handle, it uses a foot pedal at the base of the toilet. To add water to the bowl, press the foot pedal halfway down. To flush, press the pedal all the way down and hold it for about 3–5 seconds. Note: To avoid clogs & potentially extra fees, only flush humans waste & provided toilet paper. NEVER FLUSH: wipes, paper towels, tissues, feminine hygiene products, dental floss, q-tips, food, grease, coffee grounds, chemicals or anything else!
