Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We offer early pickup (prior to 3pm) for $50, inquire if available. Take your time coming home back. Drop-off time is flexible and no extra charge as long as you return before dark.

Q.

Things to remember when arriving at camp?

A.

Before backing into your campsite, get out and look! (GOAL). Make sure you're not backing the camper into picnic tables or other obstacles or popping up into tree branches, which will scratch the camper. If your campsite has hookups, make sure you're parking within reach of your hookups. Try to park in the most level part of the campsite so that you don't have to level the camper. Use a spotter when backing up. Go slow :-)

Q.

Do I need to refill the propane tank?

A.

Your heater uses propane. The refrigerator uses propane when you're dry camping (camping without hookups). We can refill the propane tank for you for a $25 charge plus the cost of propane. Otherwise, please refill the propane tank before returning and there is no additional charge. Use the propane tank located on the passenger side. There are sensors on the bottom of the tanks, please grab the sensor if you swap the tank so we don't have to charge you to replace it.

Q.

How do I use the campsite water and power hookups?

A.

In the back storage compartment, you'll find everything ready to go-- A fresh water hose, electrical cable, surge protector, and adaptors (30amp, 50amp, and 120V). 1. Open the propane cover and turn the passenger-side propane tank to "on." 2. Connect the cable to the surge protector and plug into the campsite power. Set the campsite breakers to "on." 3. Turn fridge "on" and "A/C." 4. Connect the blue fresh water hose to the port labeled "City Water Hookup" and turn the campsite spigot on.
