They offer the convenience you require and the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere you deserve. Shady Creek is a quiet and convenient location in the North Texas metropolitan area. The location is ideal for exploring this corner of Texas. They are one mile north of Highway 380 and 4 miles West of the North Dallas Tollway; 20 Minutes to Denton; 10 Minutes to McKinney/Frisco; 50 Minutes to Fort Worth; 20 Minutes to Dallas; and 45 Minutes to DFW Airport. The Frisco Heritage Museum
The Frisco Heritage Museum located at 6455 Page Street, just east of the Frisco City Hall and Library; opened in 2008 the 18,000 square feet of collections represent the history of the Frisco area. The museum is also the home of the Bolin antique collection, formerly housed in McKinney and donated to the City of Frisco by the Bolin family. If you are interested in local history, pay a visit to the Frisco Heritage Museum. The Museum opened in 2008 and features 18,000 square feet of collections that represent the history of the Frisco area. The museum has a variety of exhibits which include a turn of the century printing press, a service station with cars from 1915 and 1930, an early 1900?s parlor, a 1960?s era den, a ?King Cotton? exhibit, railroad memorabilia, ?The Heritage Theater? showing old movies, and a timeline room showing a video of the history of Frisco and providing a view of all the buildings in Heritage Center. The Heritage Association of Frisco also maintains exhibit space with changing displays of Frisco history. The museum gift shop on the 1st floor has a variety of items for both young and old. All historical publications by the Heritage Association of Frisco are available in the gift shop.

The facilities are good and clean with many shaded pull through sites allowing for big rig access, with 50A electrical hookups, as well as water and sewer. There is a recreation room, laundry, restrooms, a pool, and pets are allowed. This is a very convenient RV park for access to the greater Dallas Fort Worth area, with most points of interest less than 30 minutes away. The pool is 3 - 8ft deep and is perfectly clean and suitable for children.

Grand Prairie Lakes Park in Grand Prairie, Texas is nestled under mature, beautiful trees that cove the property on the banks of a wonderful lake. The atmosphere at the park takes campers away from the noise and the ordinary activity in a busy city. The park has facilities for RV and tent camping There are 213 sites with concrete pads for RV?s. These sites come with 30 amp electric and water hookups as well as a grill and a fire ring. Visitors should arrive before 10 pm to get their camp set for the evening. Eight campers and two vehicles are allowed at each site. Campers may use several large pavilions that sit in the midst of ten individual sites. In addition, campers have access to restrooms, showers, and a changing house. There is a boat dock, a four lane boat ramp, and a swimming beach. The entire park covers almost 800 acres close to the attractions in Dallas.
