Settled in 1847 and known for being one of the oldest communities in the state of Texas, DeSoto is a lively suburb of Dallas. The city is named for a doctor in the early community, Thomas Hernando DeSoto Stewart. For nearly 100 years, DeSoto remained a tiny community, with a dwindling population throughout the two world wars. It was not until incorporation in 1949 that the city finally began to expand, with a rapidly growing population in the area.

Loria and Dani were fantastic hosts and make the process super easy. Their camper was extremely clean and included everything one would need for a great holiday - from good towels to games, and easy to navigate labeled containers with RV items like electrical cords and such. They both served in the military and you could tell through the organization and great communication. Highly recommend for family of 4. Camper was easy to drive.
