Boating is one of the most popular activities on the lake and the best way to access the lake’s hidden bays and private coves. Whether you have your own boat or have decided to rent one from the marina, the waters are easily reached via one of the three boat ramps found on the lake’s shore. Watercraft are not permitted on Lake Livingston, so consider spending a tranquil afternoon on the waters in either a canoe, kayak or paddleboat. For the more adventurous, why not paddle out to Pine Island, a picturesque island that sits around three miles from the edge of the lake.

RV camping at Lake Livingston is a breeze thanks to the five well-equipped campgrounds scattered around Lake Livingston State Park. Across the five campgrounds, there are close to 150 sites, over half of which are equipped with full hookups for your rental RV.

The town of Livingston is home to the Polk County Museum that can be explored via a guided or self-guided tour. Charles and Melissa were great to rent from. They were very informative . We used their luxurious Sprinter for a baseball road trip and utilized toll lanes, Melissa simply recouped those charges from our deposit and provided detail information. The back television came loose, and Melissa worked to get it fixed for free, receiving us of responsibility. They both communicated great fro our entire trip, were easy to deal with, and very accommodating from the start. The Sprinter drives GREAT and has every bell and whistle you can imagine. I highly recommend!

Jacob was awesome! Trailer was so great! Easy to hook up and tow w my Sierra 1500. Everything works and is super clean and roomy. It has all that you need to hookup and go have a good time. Also, good communication and easy pickup/dropoff. Thanks so much! Recommend. A+
