When the water level is high enough, watercraft are allowed on the lake; otherwise, Lake Mackenzie is a great spot for a day of peaceful kayaking. Those who are motorhome camping with their own boat in tow can make use of the double-ramp public boat ramp as well as the boat storage facilities, perfect if you are planning on staying here for a few days.

Camping at Lake Mackenzie

RV camping at Lake Mackenzie is easy thanks to the small campground located on the lake’s southern shores. Campers can also make use of the communal picnic tables, and dump stations found just outside of the campground. Sitting on a bluff that overlooks the lake, you could not wish for a more tranquil lakeside camping spot.
