Situated in Montgomery County, Pinehurst, TX is a census-designated area with an interesting Western history. Once called “Prairie Home” and “Hunter’s Retreat,” the area was eventually changed to Pinehurst in 1955 mainly because of a local prominent ranch with the same name.

Pinehurst was once a popular railroad destination in the state and is covered in towering pine trees. Its residents are also known for their outgoing disposition making this a very friendly spot for RVers to venture to.
