RV rental Ocean City State Park, WA: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

One of the best parts about RV camping at state parks is being able to enjoy the outdoors while still benefiting from the modern amenities we’ve all grown to love. Ocean City State Park is home to nearly 150 standard campsites, but only about 30 of those are full hookup sites for RVs. Each RV site contains both water and electricity hookups, the latter being offered in both 30 and 50 amps for convenience. Throughout the campsite, there is access to many shared amenities, including four different restrooms and six showers with hot water. There is a dumping station for RV users, and those wishing to camp should be aware that the largest RV allowed is 50 feet. While you are RV camping at Ocean City State Park, you’ll have decent privacy since there are four different loops to choose from, and each site has a moderate amount of trees surrounding it.

Ocean Shores, which is located directly to the south of the state park, is home to a gorgeous 18 hole golf course that golf-loving guests should play at during their stay. This course offers unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean and North Bay, as the course is sandwiched between the two. The holes on the course range in difficulty and the onsite pro shop is happy to rent clubs to visitors who didn’t bring their own since they are motorhome camping. Unfortunately, aside from the golf course Ocean Shores doesn’t offer much else in the way of amenities. The next closest town is Aberdeen, which is to the east, and here you can find a wide assortment of restaurants to keep the whole family happy and fed. In Aberdeen, there is the standard fast food options, as well as plenty of local restaurants that include Italian, Chinese, Japanese, home-style cooking American, sandwich shops, pizza places, and more. Aberdeen is also a very convenient place to fill your fuel tank before heading further inland. During the extent of your stay head south of Aberdeen to Raymond, which is the home of the Northwest Carriage Museum. Although you’ll be exploring the area by driving in a rental RV, the museum is a great place to learn about how folks explored the area before automobiles. The museum originally opened in 2002, and in the span since opening the museum curator has managed to collect more than 50 vehicles to display. There are old-style carriages, carts, and more. Guests will also have a chance to explore a large collection of authentic tools, time period clothing, artifacts, and pictures that tell the story of how people lived and traveled in the Pacific Northwest in the past.
