RV rental Delta Lake State Park, NY: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

As you are planning a motorhome camping trip to Delta Lake State Park, if you are a fan of water recreation, you’ll find all kinds of lakeside activities to enjoy here. The park has a sandy beach that is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Lifeguards are posted here during the summer, which is an ideal time to bring the whole family for some lounging and swimming in the warm sun. There are also launch sites for you to set off and explore the lake by boat, canoe, or kayak. Plan on bringing your own watercraft or renting it nearby as there are no boat rentals available on the state park premises. The shoreline fishing is popular with anglers looking to cast a line for trout, pike, bass, bullhead, and perch. The terrain at Delta Lake State Park is generally flat and wooded so not too challenging to navigate. Pack your hiking boots and bicycles in your RV rental and wander or ride around the miles of hiking, biking, and nature trails. As you are traveling here during the winter, plenty of activities to keep you entertained await you. This is a great park to try your hand at ice fishing and trek the snowy trails on cross-country skis or a snowmobile. After working up an appetite swing by the park’s food concession and then relax and dine outdoors at one of the park’s many picnic tables and pavilions. Younger members of your group will look forward to clambering around the park’s little lakeside playground. There are also recreation programs available here for people of all ages.
