Visitors could go on a guided tour of the museum, or choose to explore the place themselves. While there are not too many restaurants in Springfield, the culinary scene here is decent. The restaurants offer both local and international food, and visitors may find them in the downtown area. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby where you may stock up on supplies should you need any. Before you pack up your rental RV and leave Springfield, make a stop at one of the gas stations, then go out on I-70 and head east to Columbus, the capital of the state.
