Getting Outdoors
From fishing to swimming and boating, Kiser Lake State Park is perfect for watersports enthusiasts. Only non-motorized vessels may be used here, so the atmosphere here is calming. Kayakers and canoers may paddle around and explore the shoreline. Kiser Lake is regularly stocked with fish, and it is a popular destination for local anglers. If you decide to go fishing here, you might catch crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill, and yellow perch. Of course, campers need to have an Ohio fishing license. Additionally, you may see scuba divers here as well.
Camping at Kiser Lake State Park
Kiser Lake State Park features a large campground surrounded by trees that offer a scenic backdrop to your motorhome camping trip. There are more than 100 sites for long vehicles. Only 20 of them are pull-through sites with an asphalt surface. Electric hookups are available at this campground. Other amenities include bathrooms, picnic areas, and a dump station.

Springfield is a lovely community in the heart of Ohio. The city used to be an important industrial hub in the area thanks to large manufacturing companies that were located there. Today, Springfield is known for its wonderful architecture, thriving art scene, and small-town charm. Speaking of architecture, the Wescott House is one of the most popular sights in Springfield. Frank Lloyd Wright, a famous architect, designed the mansion. The Prairie-style house is one of 350 Wright’s designs that is still standing. The house was restored a couple of years ago and is now a museum dedicated to Frank Lloyd Wright. Visitors may tour the house, see amazing interiors, and learn more about Wright’s designs.
