Campgrounds are limited directly around the shoreline of Cedar Creek, but elsewhere they are numerous. ’Seven Springs Lodge’ is an RV Park just north of Cedar Creek and when offering a wide range of facilities and amenities, a great choice. Full hookups are provided here, and these include 20, 30, 50 amp electric, water, and sewer hookup. Facilities include a dump station, shower block, flushing toilets, and free WiFi. Pets are more than welcome at Seven Springs Lodge but must be kept on a leash at all times.

The nearby city of Florence offers campers a wide range of day trips and sight-seeing opportunities for the entire family. Those with an interest in Native American history should not pass up a chance to visit the ‘Florence Indian Mound and Museum.’ at over forty-three feet, this ancient mound towers over the surrounding landscape. After climbing the mound, take a tour around the on-site museum. The museum holds a plethora of artifacts and showcases them in a wide range of exceptional exhibits. Highlights of the museum are Native American fish hooks sharpened from deer hoof and necklaces carved from river bottom shells.
