Perhaps one of the most exciting exhibitions here is of Little Stevie, a large mastodon. He is beneath the museum floor and you walk on tempered glass and look down on him. Kids will particularly enjoy the hands-on experiences which are offered; for example, make your own fossil. If you get here early, why not take a tour around the native plant garden?
