It can be accessed along a challenging six-mile-long hike from the abandoned train station at Dos Cabezas, with the trail steadily climbing to the ridge line before descending to a dry waterfall and the bridge itself. It was constructed in 1933 as part of the San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railway after a tunnel through the Carrizo Gorge collapsed, with the new bridge made from wood (rather than metal) due to the extreme temperature fluctuations.

James is a great host with a nice couples trailer. We appreciated the queen size bed and the easy tow with our 01’ Tacoma V6. We camped at Dixon lake with an incredible view of Escondido, super happy we did this because it was so much cooler than a hotel.

This was my first time booking with Stephen and his RV is very nice! It's called the Weekend Warrior, and its Disney themed with a video game for the kids! It came fully stocked with all of the kitchen and bathroom equipment. It's fully loaded and he delivered on time and set up and explained how to use everything. My husband and I were very pleased and will most definitely rent from him again! 2025 Glamping/ Camping at its best!!

Really nice to drive this van, my family enjoyed the trip and all the nice equipment it has. Pretty fancy stuff. I’m still amazed how there was no noise coming from the generator, we had the ac and tv on and no noise outside, pretty amazing. We did lots of walking so coming back was so nice that 4 seats are massage chairs! I immediately forgot I was driving an rv because of how easy it was to park and get around town. Branko was really awesome host, polite and friendly he got us checked in/out fast and was available during my trip for some silly questions I had but he was very professional and friendly. Only complaint I have is that it drew attention, many people came up to me to ask me about the van or how cool it was. Wish the van was mine. Will rent it again.
