The Great Outdoors

The eastern San Francisco Bay area has a wide variety of activities for lovers of the outdoors. At the eastern fringe of the region, you will encounter Mount Diablo State Park. You can drive, hike, cycle, or horseback ride to Mount Diablo’s 3,849-foot summit. At the top, visitors are rewarded with spectacular vistas of the surrounding area, and with no natural features to impede your view, you might even be able to spot Half Dome in Yosemite National Park – with a good pair of binoculars, that is. Mount Diablo also has a rich history. You can learn more about it at the Summit Building and Museum, which houses several ancient fossils uncovered in the park. This park is also RV-friendly with full hookup sites available throughout the year, so you can settle in no matter when you rent an RV in Pittsburg.

We loved this van. The bed is genuinely comfortable (not the usual camper compromise), the sink is large enough to actually wash dishes in, and the seats held up through long driving days without complaint. Storage was well thought out, and everything worked exactly as described.
Timothy made the whole experience. His walk-through was thorough & he covered every system without rushing, so we felt confident from the first mile. When we wanted to extend our drop-off because we were having too much fun, he was completely flexible. He responded to our questions quickly throughout the trip, which gave us real peace of mind on the road.
This is our first-choice van for every trip going forward. Highly recommend.

Jeff was a great host! He walked us through all the modifications he made to his van and was available for any questions we had along the trip. My girlfriend and I travelled to Yosemite and Napa in the van and were comfortable sleeping with plenty of room for storage. Jeff supplied us with everything we needed plus a Coleman stove which was a nice surprise. Would definitely rent Jeff’s van again. Outdoorsy made it simple to coordinate everything.
