Marin RV Park

Marin Park is the closest recreational vehicle park to San Francisco--just 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and only 14 miles from Berkeley. If you need a break from driving you can take a ferry or bus into San Francisco. The Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma Valley, and Pt. Reyes and many other California attractions are within reach. This park has been busy so may not be available for your RV rental trip but may be an option for the shake-down night out.

San Francisco North/ Petaluma KOA

Route 101 north from San Francisco takes you through Petaluma, and here you can park up at the San Francisco North/ Petaluma KOA. This location is good for the beaches, Napa Valley and Sonoma County as well as for San Francisco, so your vacation here should never be dull. The park arranges guided day trips into San Francisco daily between May and October, but there are lots of things to do if you stay on site too. There is a large pool where you can swim or relax and read a book poolside, a climbing wall for when you feel more energetic, along with horseshoe pits, bocce ball, a ring toss area, and a bounce pillow where the youngsters can let off steam. If you want to tour the park, don?t think of walking, climb aboard a hay wagon (May to Labor Day) or grab a banana bike. Then, on a summer?s evening, you can even sit out by the pool and watch a movie too.

Sonoma Train Town Railroad

Nice RV park adjacent to a great state park with wonderful trails. There is a Mexican Restaurant on the premises if you don't feel like cooking! Friendly and clean.

I love the wine country. Perfect getaway. The wine tours are amazing. Downtown Sonoma is a great place. Check out the El Dorado Kitchen. Local vineyards.

A great family campground close to the wine country. They have a large playground, a large pool, bouncy pillow & petting zoo. Lots of activities throughout the days during the summer.
