The community of Sloughhouse is a roadside community based around a post office, a pioneer cemetery, and a country-style local restaurant. The community was awarded its name by a Mr. Jarod Sheldon, who in the 1850s, constructed a roadhouse for the community. William included many essentials like awnings, propane, electricity, and optional lighting. The trailer was easy to tow, and kept us dry in the rain. Thanks William.
