In 1885, Valley Springs built its first railroad station, which not only improved the transfer and distribution of products but also supported Calaveras County's tourism industry that had begun with the establishment of Calaveras Big Trees State Park.

The reservoir is 7,700 acres in size and has 54 miles of shoreline; jet skiing and wakeboarding are also popular activities. My husband and I rented for 10 days and were so happy with our RV, our customer service, and our trip of a lifetime with our 4 small kids. Laura and Spencer's communication was 5 stars as we led up to the check in and check out. They also said to text them with any questions at any time which thankfully, we had no need. This was a first time RV camping experience for the 4 of us. I can't imagine how any other hosts or RV could've prepped us for a better experience. Patricia and her husband Erving went above and beyond. The RV exceeded our expectations with the amenities, and how well taken care of it was.
