Beaverton is a small town on Lake Simcoe, in southern Ontario, and is part of Durham Regional Municipality. Also known as "Durham Region", the municipality was created in 1974 as part of a plan to control fast growing suburban and urban areas. Originally settled in 1822, Beaverton was known as Calder's Mills (after a local miller), then Mill Town and later Milton. It was finally named Beaverton in 1835 when a post office of the same name opened within the town limits.

The Great Outdoors

Georgina Island is a smallish island in Lake Simcoe and a reservation for the Chippewa First Nations (Native North American) tribe. Tourism on the island consists of four well-maintained hiking trails that allow nature and wildlife observation, photography and a learning experience through the exhibits and viewing areas lining the trails. The island is a combination of wooded areas and wetlands; visitors can arrive here by ferry or by water taxi, but are encouraged to travel on foot so that island residents can ferry their cars to the mainland and back. The ferry operates in the summer only; in winter, the island is accessed by air boat, which shuttles walk-on passengers but not vehicles.

We simply loved not having to use a tent for camping so now the bar has been set high.
Anthony was very quick to respond to questions and showed up on time at the camp site.
With a quick walk around we were set to enjoy nature at its finest ( from a trailer lol ).
Would definitely recommend Anthony to those who would like to experience camping with a trailer.
It’s perfect for a family of four etc

Thanks for the RV rental. Delivered and set up. We used it at our house as extra sleeping for the Grand kids. All the switches and trailer functions explained. Had a great weekend and everyone was at home with a cottage in the back yard. Will be doing this again. Thanks for taking care of our needs. Terry
