When you get a motorhome rental in Cannington, you’ll almost certainly spend some time at the lake – there are several just a short drive away. One of the more enjoyable spots to lounge by the water is at McRae Beach on the south side of Lake Simcoe. Sibbald Point Provincial Park is there and has a great stretch of sand for laying out a picnic blanket, and there’s an excellent swimming area right off of it. If you’re so inclined, there are a couple of places that rent bikes nearby so you can ride around the beautiful coastline.

Riverwood Camping Resort is one of the closest parks to Cannington and offers amenities including full hookups, a dump station, a swimming pool, and a boat launch on the Scugog River. As many tourists stay close to the shores of nearby Lake Simcoe, you should find your stay at Riverwood to be a bit quieter and more relaxing.

We had a great trip in this modern, clean and comfortable trailer. It is easy to tow and to set up. It has a nice layout inside, and the slide out gives lots of space. The bathroom has good storage and a nice toilet and shower and with good pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fridge, stove and microwave worked great.
The outdoor grill was handy and easy to put on. The queen bed has good storage on both sides. We brought a 2” foam topper to make it even more comfortable. We had a few questions for the host and she responded quickly. We would have appreciated an information sheet about how to work some things, like the light in the bathroom had a switch on the side of the vanity, and how to work the heat and AC. The heat worked great and was not too loud as in some trailers. We would rent this unit again.

The trailer was perfect in every way and so was the interaction with our renter throughout the entire rental process. The trailer was immaculate and was the perfect size, sleeping 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. We had an absolute blast and will rent again!
