The Great Outdoors
The 17 mile long and three mile wide Rice Lake is a short drive from Clarington when you rent an RV. The lake originally supported natural wild rice plants that the native people harvested, but due to development, the rice no longer exists. Now, recreation and tourism are the main uses and fishermen will find the lake well stocked with panfish, walleye, and bass.

Exploring the City
Just a few short miles north of Clarington is the Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park, that opened in 1983 with the mission of protecting endangered species. Started by husband and wife team, Wolfram and Christa Klose in 1981 to adopt a male lion cub, the park has grown quickly and opened its doors to the public in 1985. There are now sixty different species at the zoo and 178 individual animals, including reptiles and birds.

We had an amazing trip and it was great to be able to have "Sunny" which allowed for the flexibility to stop at many different places along the way. The trailer was exactly what we needed, especially with the kitchen in the back, this saved us a lot of money and allowed us to make all our meals on the go. Eva was very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly. The pick up and drop off was seamless and Eva was sure to take the time and explain all the details of the trail. I would definitely recommend this little trailer to anyone and Eva was a great host!! Also, the little bunkbed for our puppy was perfect!
