Red Rock Canyon Open Space is located near the northwestern edge of the larger town of Colorado Springs, CO. It is situated about 75 miles south of the state's capital, Denver, and around 50 miles north of Pueblo. All of these locales lie along the I-25 corridor, also called the "Front Range," as it sits on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains.
