High up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado is the tiny city of Victor. The town is named for the Victor Mine, an industrial mine established near town after the discovery of gold in the surrounding area spurred an influx of people. The town is now a shell of itself, with some small-scale mining operations still remaining, but after the mines were depleted, many of the residents left as quickly as they had arrived.
