Wiggins is a small town in the high plains of northeast Colorado a little more than an hour's drive from Denver. The way it is situated makes it easy for travelers to get to the Front Range communities and the Pawnee Plains, and a bit farther out, the Rocky Mountains. Originally called Corona, it was renamed in honor of Oliver Wiggins who guided the explorer John Fremont on his expeditions through northern Colorado in the mid-19th century.

Where to Park Your RV
Wiggins measures less than a square mile so the few RV parks you can find are outside of town, one of the closest of which is in Fort Morgan where I-76 meets Hwy 34. Emerald Park offers a convenient location for an overnight stay (most of the campgrounds and RV parks in Fort Morgan are for extended stay). You’ll get hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, and find bathrooms and showers. There is also a convenience store, steakhouse, and fuel station nearby.

Lindsey was very helpful with my first time renting a camper on this site. She answered all the questions I had and more. The camper was stocked with all the basic essentials and more. Renting Dexpup was amazing and Tyler was super easy to work with. The bedding was cozy and clean , there was enough space for 2 adults, a kid, and a dog, and the heater made winter camping in Wyoming super manageable. Would highly recommend!
