Gulf Coast Camping Resort

It's easy to find a forest, wetlands, conservation areas, parks, and pristine beaches in Florida, and when you rent an RV near Gulf Coast Camping Resort, you'll have access to it all. The Gulf Coast is less than seven miles away, with incredible places like Lovers Key State Park awaiting you. The park covers Lovers Key and three other barrier islands along the shore. Camping may not be an option at this island park, but snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, collecting seashells, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sunbathing, beachcombing, and hiking are some of the possibilities here. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a bit farther south, occupying even more oceanfront with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. This protected area is home to a variety of wildlife, like bald eagles, sea turtles, ospreys, owls, and manatees. Lounging on the beach, strolling on its boardwalks, or surfing provide you with lots of opportunities to experience this coastal terrain. Down by Marco Island, you can bring your Bonita Springs campervan rental for a visit to Collier-Seminole State Park, comprised of estuaries, cypress swamps, forests, pine flatwoods, and salt marshes among other ecosystems. Streams for canoeing or kayaking are present on-site, along with boat ramps, shelters, hiking trails, and a fully operational RV campground. Florida is home to one of the largest national parks east of the Mississippi River, and one of Florida’s largest wilderness areas. Everglades National Park is about an hours’ drive from the campsites at Gulf Coast Camping Resort, with over a million and a half acres of sprawling forests, swamps, wetlands, and other conservation areas. You can see mountain lions, manatees, alligators, pythons, flamingos, and other exotic animals while hiking or boating through the dense wilderness area or camp out at any of its rustic campground areas. No matter where you choose to spend your time, Florida won’t disappoint you.
