Lake Louisa is one of the only swimming lakes in the area and as a result, is popular for canoes, kayaks, and other water recreation. Over 20 miles of unpaved trails will provide you with some adventure, taking you through woodlands and swamps. Nature watching is also a favorite activity due to the habitat, with critters such as fox squirrels, bobcats, and bald eagles inhabiting the park. So make sure to bring along a picnic and some binoculars for some lakeside nature watching. With an abundance of serene waterways, it'll be hard to choose where to visit when you book an RV in Osceola County. Another beautiful state park complete with a breathtaking spring is Blue Spring State Park. One of the best reasons to visit this park is the chance of spotting one of Florida's rarest sea mammals, the manatee. Researchers have tracked over 400 manatees that live in the springs, meaning there's a good chance you'll get to spot one. Visitors can also take a quick hike along the 4.5-mile Pine Island Trail and do some birdwatching, with a variety of birds living in the region, including kingfishers, osprey, and lots of wading birds. Feel free to take a dip in the warm springs; scuba diving and snorkeling are both popular activities due to the clear water and variety of fish living in the springs.
