Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

If you're looking for year-round RV campgrounds in Iowa, you can't go wrong with camping at Rock Creek Campground in Rock Creek State Park. The park offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding in the summer along with snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter. There is a playground for the kids, a fishing pier, horseshoe pits, boat rentals, and a camp store for those items you may have left at home.
Rock Creek Campground campsites are available with 50 amp electrical hookups, and there are also non-electric options. Within the park, you can buy firewood, ice, and bait to use for fishing. From April through October there are shower facilities open on-site.
Hanging out at the RV campground is fun, but there is so much more to see and do in the area when you book an RV in Jasper County, IA. The state park is part near Kellogg, Iowa, just east of Newton, where you will find the Kellogg Historical Museum. The museum consists of seven separate buildings, including a schoolhouse, a hotel, an outhouse, and a church. You never know what you might find here starting with an iron lung leftover from the 1950s, a private bar, and a butcher's shop (no meat included) from the same era. But by far the best thing to do in this part of Iowa is to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fresh air while motorhome camping at Rock Creek State Park.
