The park offers features like 30 and 50 amp electric service, sewers, water, big rig access, full hookups, picnic tables, and grills. Other amenities include restrooms, showers, a boat ramp, WiFi, and cell phone coverage. The RV Park is right by the beach and offers a mile of shoreline for campers to make use of. Pets are welcome at this pet-friendly RV Park. 

Exploring the Area

A little over 70 miles from Toledo Bend Reservoir is the city of Alexandria. Considered the ‘heart of Louisiana,’ Alexandria is a hub of diverse cultures, packed with history, and plenty to do and see. 

Start your RV rental vacation in the city with a stop at the Alexandria Zoological Park. With over 500 animals housed in the zoo, visitors get treated to enclosures that house elephants, bears, and lions, among other animals. The kids will love the fish feeding area. 

Art lovers will enjoy the Alexandria Museum of Art. Located on the city’s famed riverfront area, the museum boasts of the state’s largest collection of Louisiana folk art. Exhibits at the museums include collections of ceramic art, paintings, and collages. 

Drive to Frogmore, about an hour from Alexandria. It is home to the Frogmore Cotton Plantations and Gins, a historic working plantation for cotton and gins. Tours around the plantation take you back in time to the history of the Civil War between the confederates and the Union. The plantation offers a first-hand walk into history.

The Louisiana History Museum offers another insightful walk through the history of the state through its many exhibits.
