Keep in mind that there is only one boat ramp on Beltrami Lake, and it is located on the southern shore.
Camping at Beltrami Lake
There are no campgrounds right next to the water at Beltrami Lake. But a couple of them are very close to the lake, and it will take you just a couple of minutes to reach it from there. One of them is called Summer Haven RV resort, and the other is Fox Lake Campground. Both campgrounds can accommodate long vehicles, and the RV sites are spacious. The campsites are equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. These include restrooms, hot showers, picnic areas, and free Wi-Fi.
Exploring the Area
Blackduck is a smaller city nestled in the heart of northwest Minnesota. The city got its name from the most common species of duck that lives in this area. Even though it is not a large city, Blackduck has so much to offer to the visitors. You could start your tour at the Blackduck Arts and History Center. There you may learn about the long history of this area, starting with the prehistoric Native American village. Blackduck was known for its lumber industry, as well as agriculture. The museum covers all these periods through photographs, documents, and historical artifacts.
