A few miles drive south lies Sun River Campground, an ideal campground for those RV camping at Crystal Lake. This campsite offers 20.30, and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer hookups. Facilities include a dump station, children's playground, and picnic tables. Pets are welcome at Sun River Campground but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Exploring The Area
Should campers take a short drive past the town of Alton, they will soon arrive at one of the state's most celebrated museums, the New Hampshire Boat Museum. This museum was founded in 1992, first and foremost to preserve the history and heritage of New Hampshire’s wooden boat building. Why not take the whole family to view the variety of boats on display here, each with its own unique display, giving a new perspective on all things boating. Visitors can also experience what it's like to ride in a vintage boat, with the museum's very own replica of a Hacker-Craft vintage boat.
