The Great Outdoors

When you rent an RV in Batavia, you'll have plenty of great parks right on your doorstep. One to consider visiting is the DeWitt Recreation Area. Within the city limits, this city park used to be a quarry for sand and gravel until the city repurposed it into a city park. Visitors here can now enjoy pavilions, a quarter-mile trail loop, and a playground. There are also several ponds in the park which are ideal for fishing as they include fishing docks; there are also places to launch a canoe.

RV Parks

While it's a small city, there are few places to park when you have a camper rental from Batavia. One close to the city is Skyline RV and Camping Resort near Alexander. This campground has over 250 grass campsites complete with water and electrical hookups with 30 amp service. The campground has space for slide-out campers and a few sites which offer pull-through access. Amenities are extensive and include showers, restrooms, and even groceries. There's also places to relax here, including a swimming pool, a game room, and a mini-golf course.

Exploring the City

While Batavia is on the small side for a city, there's still loads to do when you rent an RV here. If you'd like a change of scenery, cities such as Rochester are within driving distance. One of the best attractions and an institution in the city is the Batavia Downs. This hotel/casino features a horse racetrack, over 800 casino games, and five restaurants giving you plenty of options. Batavia Downs also holds live concerts, so if you're interested in seeing a specific show, check before you visit.

John was very nice and very accommodating. He set up the camper then showed us where everything inside and outside was located. Camper was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We could NOT have asked for anything more. I would HIGHLY recommend renting from John. We certainly will.
