Our experience was great for our eight-day vacation in Yellowstone NP and first experience with RVing.
First and importantly, Ashlea is a great host. Both pickup and return were quite easy. On pickup, Ashlea spent time showing us all the details on how to operate the unit and answered all of our questions. The unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped (see few suggestions below). Traveling was easy and I had no problem keeping up with traffic on major highways. On the more winding roads in the park the unit was easy to drive and wonderfully comfortable to drive vs. driving trucks of similar size.
At the park we moved from campground to campground a few times. Maneuvering the unit into the camping spots was easy and I was able to do it using only the mirrors, I did not need any assistance from family member to guide me in when backing up. Once parked setup took less than 15 minutes, to level the unit and extend the slide-outs. The automatic leveling system was great compared to observing other campers who needed much more time and effort to level their campers.
Four of us traveled, all adults. My two adult daughters sometimes shared the over cab bed and sometimes one of them would use the bed in the dining area as it only took a few minutes to convert from table to sleeping area. There is plenty of interior storage as the cabinets and refrigerator/freezer held all of our food for the entire eight days (three meals a day).
External storage was great as it held all of our fishing gear, small tables, chairs, two coolers for daily excursions not in the RV, and an assortment of other gear.
The only suggestions are in the kitchen area as it would have been nice to have a mixing bowl, a small sheet pan (I made biscuits), and a kitchen knife(we did bring our own), otherwise we did not lack for cooking/eating utensils, towels, or bedding.
My experience with Outdoorsy was also great. Was able to search many units for potential rental, and once selected I received regular updates. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with Ashlea via the app.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely rent from Ashlea again.
