Buck Creek State Park is one stellar option, found over on the other side of Dayton not too far from Arcanum. The park was created when the Ohio River was dammed to prevent flooding, creating a human-made reservoir that is commonly used for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing. There are a few historic homesteads and buildings in the park, like the Crabill Homestead which is featured on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is massive and filled to the brim with decommissioned fighter jets and military transport planes used in conflicts throughout United States history. Excellent experience. We would definitely rent from Jim & Mary again. The Motorhome was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The trailer was perfect for what we needed. I have rented this one two times and would continue renting it. The owners communication was great. He went over everything you need to know about the trailer. He is very flexible with pick up and drop off times and can accommodate just about anything. The owner messaged me about the indoor fridge not working when it came back from the previous rental. He was very helpful and offered a mini fridge to take along since it was not working which was nice!
