There are numerous places to explore nearby with your camper. About half-an-hour away from the lake in Kettering is Carillon Historical Park. This 65-acre park tells the history of the area from 1796 to modern times. It’s also near many museums, including an aviation center that holds the Wright Flyer III, one of the world’s first airplanes. In addition to this, the park is situated near historic cottages, schoolhouses, and barns. As its name suggests, the park houses the Deed Carillon, which holds 57 bells.
