The Great Outdoors
Located next to Ardmore is Lake Murry State Park, a playground of beautiful scenery and recreational activities. The park is the first and largest state park in Oklahoma, with the central attraction being the lake itself. Around the lake, there is an abundance of parks, beaches, hiking trails, an 18-hole golf course, boat ramps, and more. Due to its close vicinity to town, the park is a good choice for a day trip in your Ardmore RV rental, whether it is to get on the water or simply enjoy a picnic in one of the many designated picnic spots.

Exploring the City
Ardmore is home to the Ardmore Dragway. Originally an airport, it was transformed into a racetrack at a later date. The first race took place in 1954, and now plays host to regular racing events throughout the year, which can be a great thing to go and watch no matter the time of year you plan your vacation. Other attractions that are either in or extremely near the town include the Arbuckle Wilderness Park, a drive-thru exotic animal adventure, the Turner Falls Zipline for an ultimate adrenaline rush and the Eliza Cruce Hall Doll Museum.
