Beavers Bend State Park is a popular outdoor recreational area near Broken Bow, Oklahoma, in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountain range. Its landscape consists of pine and hardwood tree stands, divided by the Mountain Fork River, which passes through along with some smaller streams. Within the park, you'll find Broken Bow Lake, which has both open water and numerous coves and a marina where you can rent boats and jet skis. In the fall, the trees turn into a rainbow of colors, and in winter, the snow-covered land and crisp fresh air remind you why winter can be a good thing.

Beaver Bend hosts several festivals and activities throughout the year, such as the Festival of the Forest, arts and crafts shows, and a three-day competition where woodworkers create works of art from random pieces of wood. The competition finishes with a judges' panel choosing the best sculpture and nominating someone to be the Master Woodturner. If you park your RV rental nearby, you can enjoy the show and the scenery in comfort.
