Responsive, accommodating, and well-prepared
Benjamin is frequently praised for prompt communication, detailed tours/briefings, and offering useful extras like s'mores kits or child seats. However, one renter experienced significant issues with an uninformed substitute during pickup regarding cleanliness and vehicle upkeep.
Easy to drive with great features
The 2023 Winnebago Solis is consistently praised for being easy to drive, maneuver, and park, with good gas mileage and safety cameras. It's well-equipped with comfortable beds, kitchen supplies, insect screens, and often includes bonus gear.

5.0Ben was a great host. He was quick to answer questions pre trip and when I went to pick up the van, he took time to give me a tour and show me the features of the van. He eased my worries by telling me the van was easy to drive. He was right. I had never driven a vehicle as big as the van, but it was smooth to maneuver and easy to park. Gas mileage was better than expected too! The van was very well stocked with bedding and towels and the kitchenette had all that we needed for meals including little extras like salt, pepper, coffee, and oil. Cleaning the cassette toilet and filling the water tank was straight forward. We had a great adventure and want to plan another trip! Thank you Ben, for making our Summer vacation awesome and affordable!

4.0We had a wonderful time driving up the CA and OR coast in Sonoma Sunshine. We're regular tent campers and this was our first camper van experience - we're big fans based on our time with the Solis. The beds were comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 4, and the van was equipped with all the gear we needed. We found it easy to maneuver such a big vehicle because the cameras and other safety features worked well. Unfortunately, I have to dock a star because the pick-up and drop-off experience were rough and the van wasn't in shape in terms of cleanliness or upkeep. During pick-up, the owner was out of the country so his teenage neighbor met us. He had very little knowledge of the van and couldn't answer basic questions like how the stove turned on, or where to find the light switch. He also hadn't properly cleaned the van before pick-up, so the first day, we spent a lot of our time troubleshooting (e.g., getting the hot water to work) and wiping down surfaces. In terms of upkeep, there was no windshield fluid and the oil change light kept going on. I expect all of this would have been different if the owner were in town, but this part of the experience wasn't great.

5.0Such a great van! Easy to drive and park. Fully equipped with anything a family of four could need for an epic road trip! Even had smores sticks and a 4 person tent with sleeping bags. Ben is super helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall functioning of the van wasn't difficult to maneuver from plugging it into an electrical outlet, filling the water tank, turning on the propane pump and emptying the cassette toilet. I really appreciated the insect screen in both the sliding and back doors. I was able to open the doors for ventilation while cooking but not draw bugs into the van. Easy to manage for nonRV owning city folk.

5.0The Winnebago was very easy to drive, comfortable seating for a long trek. Beds were comfortable. Lots of accessories and tools were provided which was a great help since I flew in for this trip. Ben was very communicative, helpful, and answered questions promptly. This was an epic adventure to the redwoods and I am so glad I chose this route for travel.
