2022 Must See RV of the Year!!!
The Winnebago Solis is a fantastic RV. It’s easy to drive and super fun to use. So many people these days are converting cargo vans into campers. That’s super popular. BUT: Do you want to see how the professionals at Winnebago have designed a nearly perfect version from the top down? Do you kinda pine for those old Westfalia pop-top vans but always wished they were a bit more practical and roomy and comfortable and wonderful? The Winnebago Solis is all of that and more. There is a Queen sized bed on the roof under the pop-top tent! There is another full sized bed inside which appears when you drop down the rear sofa. There is a combo bathroom with a cassette toilet and a hot shower inside supplied by a 21 gallon fresh water tank. There is another outdoor hot water shower at the back made usable by opening the back doors and using the included privacy screen. Four adults could enjoy this RV if everyone packed lightly but honestly, 2 or 3 adults will enjoy this RV most comfortably or even a family group of two adults and two kids at most. Even still, there are 6 seatbelts inside. The onboard 220 amp battery is charged by the solar panel on the roof and by the alternator when the van is running. It is also charged by plugging the van in at a campsite outlet with the cable provided. What's includedWe have stocked this Winnebago Solis with a lot of stuff. 2 camping chairs (2 more available upon request), 2 sets of bedding with sheets, blankets, and pillows available upon request. Towels, plates and cups for 4, 4 stainless coffee mugs, cutlery for 4, French press for coffee, tea kettle, 2 non-stick pans, 2 stainless steel pots with lids, chef's knives, cutting boards, corkscrew, an outdoor rug, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and some other stuff all inside and ready for you.RecommendationsThis is a terrific rig for beach exploration or for wandering the Columbia Gorge or for discovering the breathtaking, magnificent vistas of the Cascade Mountain Range. Via Hwy 26 going west, you'll be in Seaside in just an hour and a half where you can enjoy that fun little town or go a little ways further to the north into Astoria. Just beyond that on the Washington side of the Columbia is a delightful camping area called Cape Disappointment. Funny name for such a beautiful location. Anywhere along the coast you'll hear the crashing of the waves and you'll smell the salty air as you fall in love with Pacific Northwest. Or, from Portland you can head east on Hwy 26 directly into the Columbia Gorge. Here you'll see world-class windsurfers continuously plying the white crested waves of the Columbia River. So many hiking trails exist everywhere you go in Oregon and in Washington. Other things to noteNo pets.
