A custom designed lightweight trailer, fits in places others don't and towable by most cars!
Hand built by Hiker Trailers of Denver, CO, the trailer comfortably fits a memory foam mattress with flannel sheets and comforter. We typically put a flannel lined sleeping bag on top to stay extra cozy. We usually travel with the bed slid all the way to the back of the trailer, which provides quite a bit of storage area at the front for tubs. Then when we reach camp we pull stuff out from the front of the trailer and slide the bed up. If you don't slide it up it's a good place to let your dogs/kids sleep if they're to big to share the bed. I've listed it as sleeps 3 in that you could fit two adults and one kid.
The back door of the trailer opens up to a galley with a sliding tray, so for short stops you have a good bit of space to work with there to prep a quick meal.
There is a single entry door on the right you would enter/leave through, a window on each side, and a thermostat controlled vent fan in the ceiling (hooks up to the 12v system). There is a roof rack on top as well as a large rack on the front. There is a receiver hitch on the back for a bike rack or additional cargo basket. Also an inflated spare is mounted on the right side of the trailer.
There are several LED lights that are built into the trailer that hook up to the 12v system- bring your own battery or mine is for rent at reasonable cost. When laying down there are some good places to prop up a phone or tablet and watch a movie.
For recent add-ons, I've made available a Goal Zero power system, Camp Chef dual burner stove, and Ozark Trail shelter as inexpensive add ons to enhance your trip.
