Exploring the City

Alba and the surrounding areas have great history that dates back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. That’s why there are great museums in the area for you to explore. Salt Palace Museum in Grand Saline celebrates the history of salt mining in that area. The town is built on a salt dome that it is estimated will last another 20,000 years.
