Spelunking. That's the technical name for this activity which will take you into the bowels of the earth, for an exploration of these amazing caves, lasting about an hour and a half. Using flash lights, your tour guide will lead you along a walkway underground as you discover some of the natural hidden delights and secrets of Georgetown, Texas. The caves are relatively warm inside, even in winter, and you will be amazed at the stunning natural formations waiting for you along this underground trail. Occasionally the calm and peacefulness of the caves may be disturbed by the flutter of little wings as bats take to the air, but it is their home that you are visiting after all, and they are certainly not out to get you. At some point your guide will stop and ask the group to switch off their flash lights, so you can fully appreciate the blackness.
