RV camping at Blanco State Park is an excellent way to unwind and unplug from the stresses of daily life. When packing your RV, make sure you pack your fishing gear so you can enjoy spending the day casting your line into the Blanco River. Anglers can fish for channel catfish, sunfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, and Guadalupe bass. A fishing license isn't required when fishing from the shore within the park. If you happen to forget your fishing gear, you can rent rods and reels from the park’s headquarters.
