The city of East Bernard, TX, is located in Wharton County, a little
west of Houston. When you book an RV in East Bernard, you are able to start your vacation in the heart of the Lone Star State and close to many beautiful forests and lakes.

First settled in around 1850, the town was initially established on the east side of the San Bernard River, hence the name, but in 1869 they moved the railway depot to the west side of the river, and the town grew rapidly around the station. Despite the town now being on the west side, they kept the name, East Bernard!
