The Lake Lavon RV Parks are landscaped with trees of many kinds. A large storm safety shelter is on site. The Parks also feature a full service laundromat. The RV Parks is an excellent spot to enjoy the natural scenery of this part of Texas before heading out to explore Allen, Dallas, and other nearby urban environments.
The Frisco Heritage Museum
The Frisco Heritage Museum located at 6455 Page Street, just east of the Frisco City Hall and Library; opened in 2008 the 18,000 square feet of collections represent the history of the Frisco area. The museum is also the home of the Bolin antique collection, formerly housed in McKinney and donated to the City of Frisco by the Bolin family. If you are interested in local history, pay a visit to the Frisco Heritage Museum. The Museum opened in 2008 and features 18,000 square feet of collections that represent the history of the Frisco area. The museum has a variety of exhibits which include a turn of the century printing press, a service station with cars from 1915 and 1930, an early 1900?s parlor, a 1960?s era den, a ?King Cotton? exhibit, railroad memorabilia, ?The Heritage Theater? showing old movies, and a timeline room showing a video of the history of Frisco and providing a view of all the buildings in Heritage Center. The Heritage Association of Frisco also maintains exhibit space with changing displays of Frisco history. The museum gift shop on the 1st floor has a variety of items for both young and old. All historical publications by the Heritage Association of Frisco are available in the gift shop.
Hidden Cove Park and Marina
Hidden Cove Park and Marina in Frisco, Texas is a great place to be for campers and their families. There are many facilities on the site or nearby for enjoyable excursions.

If you want to explore Flower Mound in Texas, a great place to stay is the Lewisville Lake Park Campground in Lewisville. It's only seven miles away from Flower Mound, so it won't take you long to get there. At this campground, you get electric and water hookup, free WiFi, restrooms and showers, and laundry facilities. You can water ski, jet ski, sail, sailboard, and of course, swim. If you like hiking, there are plenty of nature trails to explore. It's also nice to just bring a picnic and relax by the lake.
