The mid-sized city of Texas City, Texas sits on the coast of Galveston County overlooking Galveston Bay, just a short drive south of Houston and Baytown. Texas City was founded by three brothers from Duluth, Minnesota on a duck hunting trip in the early 1890s. The three brothers, known as the Myers brothers, saw the possibility for the area to become a prominent port due to its location on the bay and decided to buy 10,000 acres of land in the area, which is now known as Texas City.

Stella Mare offers paved sites with full hookups with the choice of 20, 30, or 50 amp electricity. Pull-through spots are available for big rigs too. There's even a splash pool for kids and a tiki bar for adults. While there are many sites within the resort, it is recommended that campers make reservations.

Do not hesitate to rent this RV! It is as pictured and all the little extras were absolutely appreciated and the grandkids loved Cabot this RV. The host David was very nice and accommodating, always responded in a very timely matter. The RV was clean, well stocked with everything you would need. The set up and checkout went very smoothly. Everything worked perfectly. If you are thinking of renting this RV, do so, you will not regret it.
